Referring Someone to Christ-Centered Care
For pastors, clinicians and treatment centers who care for people in recovery. Here is exactly what Shepard & Stone provides today, what’s planned, and how a referral is handled.
“that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.”
What we can do today, and what’s planned
Referral decisions should start from what is actually available. We keep this current.

You’re kept informed, when permitted
A ministry you can trust with your people
Shepard & Stone was started as a ministry, and the church is our first partner. When someone in your congregation needs more help than a small group or counseling can give, call us. We’ll listen, explain the options plainly, and help you walk with them.
Residents stay connected to church life during treatment, and are free to attend the church of their choice. Shepard & Stone is non-denominational and not affiliated with any one church.
Please don’t email clinical records. Records are exchanged only through a permitted, secure process, after fit and level of care are clear. Start with a phone call.
Questions from referral partners
If your question isn’t here, call or text us. We’ll tell you the truth, even when it’s “not yet.”
Who can refer to Shepard & Stone?
Pastors, church leaders, therapists, physicians, hospitals and treatment centers. Families can also call directly.
Can Shepard & Stone take a referral today?
Shepard & Stone isn’t admitting residents yet. Today we help coordinate detox and residential care through trusted partners, and we’ll tell you the moment our own programs open.
Will you update me after a referral?
When the person gives permission, yes. We keep referral partners informed about next steps.
Does someone need to be a Christian?
No. Shepard & Stone is Christ-centered and non-denominational, and belief is never a requirement for care.
Your story is not over
Leave your name and number and we’ll call you back. We’ll listen, check your coverage and help you find a safe next step today, through trusted partners while Shepard & Stone prepares its first home.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
