Medical Detox
Stopping alcohol or drugs can be dangerous to do alone. Medical detox gives you round-the-clock supervision while your body clears the substance, so the next step in recovery can begin safely.
Residential Treatment
Residential treatment means living in a safe, structured home while you focus on recovery full time. At Shepard & Stone it will be a real home, with clear standards, good food and Christ at the center.
Planned levels of care at Shepard & Stone

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
A partial hospitalization program gives you most of the structure of residential care during the day, while you live in recovery housing or at home in the evenings.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
An intensive outpatient program keeps you in steady treatment a few days a week while you return to work, family and church life.
Outpatient Treatment
Outpatient treatment is the lightest level of care: regular sessions that keep you connected and accountable as you build a sober life at home.
Recovery Housing
Recovery housing is a sober home where you live with others in recovery while you work, attend treatment and rebuild your life. It is likely the first Shepard & Stone service to open.
Dual-Diagnosis Support
Many people who struggle with addiction also live with anxiety, depression or trauma. Dual-diagnosis care treats both together, because each one affects the other.
Case Management
Recovery doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Case management helps you handle the practical side of life, such as work, family, legal matters and insurance, while you focus on getting well.
Continuing Care
Leaving treatment is a beginning, not an ending. Continuing care keeps you connected through check-ins, fellowship and support as you walk out your recovery.
Family Program
Addiction never happens to just one person. The whole family carries it, and the whole family deserves a place in the healing. Shepard & Stone’s family program is planned to walk with you before, during and after treatment.
